Biography of Tammy (Tomaszewski) Stephenson  collected by the ACWS. Tammy was murdered on January 24, 1992 by Ronald Stephenson, her husband of five months. She was 23 years old. Ronald Stephenson is serving a life term imprisonment. Tammy was such a special person-a kind, gentle girl who never hurt anyone. She was devoted to her parents, two sisters and their families and her close friends. She touched the hearts of all who knew her. Tammy was a trusting person- she believed that there is some good in every person. She was conscientious, dedicated and hardworking and was known as a perfectionist. She had a wry sense of humor. Tammy graduated from the University of Alberta as a medical lab technologist. Her kind, gentle nature, warm smile and compassion for others made her ideally suited for her work. She had a lifelong love of cats and books. A trip to Disneyland with friends was one of the highlights in her brief life.
